HAVE you ever realised how much we learn to tolerate stress?
Let me say that again:
WE CONDITION OURSELVES TO TOLERATE *STRESS*.
That means stress has become a habit for far too many people.
It’s no wonder so many of us are burning out early. If stress is a normal condition now, that means we may not be noticing the warning signs of a breakdown – or worse – until it’s too late.
That’s crap. Utterly pants. Why are we doing this to ourselves?
USE THE ‘F’ WORD
People… listen… turn on your ears and turn down your fears. Nobody needs to tolerate stress. If stress is in your life, tell it to get the fuck out. At the very least, start actively cultivating some positive feelings to counter it.
Stress doesn’t just happen to us. Our REACTIONS to situations create and *invite* stress into our lives.
And guess what? WE ARE EACH RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR REACTIONS! WE HAVE THE POWER TO CONTROL THEM.
If we choose to.
TAKE YOUR CONTROL BACK
Take back control. Stop tolerating stress, start cultivating happiness. Make that a habit instead.
